Based on recommendations from the CDC Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers to Plan and Respond to Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) KPI Logistics is currently working with our employees and contractors on several proactive solutions:
- For employees we are implementing remote work capabilities in alignment with social distancing recommendations. Remote work capacity has been implemented for phone, voice, video teleconferencing, and business application access.
- For our contract workers, we are instituting health and safety standards that prohibit any contracted worker from handling freight if they or anyone they have been in contact with has tested positive for Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
As long as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to be a global concern, KPI will remain vigilant and proactively take the necessary steps to ensure the health and safety of our employees, partners and communities.
